Who we are

Our philosophy is rooted in the principles of child-centered justice. Where protection, empathy & fairness guide our actions. We strive to create a legal system where justice is defined by restoration not punishment.
OUR VALUESPrograms that change lives
Justice should never feel like the end of their story.
We intervene at that critical point before fear becomes conviction, before mistakes become labels by ensuring children are heard, guided, and given a real chance to recover and rebuild.

How are donations used?
Every donation directly contributes to advancing protection, justice, and rehabilitation for children in conflict with the law. Contributions support program implementation, legal aid services, stakeholder trainings, psychosocial and rehabilitation activities, educational materials, and operational needs that enable us to reach vulnerable children effectively. We are committed to accountability, transparency, and ensuring that every contribution creates meaningful and lasting impact.
Can I choose a specific program to support? How are donations used?
Yes. Donors may choose to support a specific program or initiative aligned with their interests and values. This may include legal representation for children, diversion and child-friendly justice trainings, psychosocial support, rehabilitation activities, life skills programs, or community awareness initiatives. We are happy to discuss giving options and help you direct your contribution to the area you are most passionate about.
Who do you work with?
We work with children in conflict with the law 12-17 years, particularly those within Uganda’s juvenile justice system. Our work also involves engaging families, communities, law enforcement officers, local council courts, probation officers, legal practitioners, schools, and other stakeholders to promote child-friendly justice, rehabilitation, protection, and reintegration for children.
